Hi, I am Liubov Lehenia, and I care deeply about giving proper credit to creators. This page explains how I source, credit, and manage images on TheTrendyInterior.com and on my Pinterest boards. If you see anything that needs a correction, please tell me and I will fix it quickly.

What appears on this site

You will see three main types of images:

  • My original photos and graphics that I style, shoot, and edit.
  • Licensed images from stock libraries or paid subscriptions.
  • Third party images from brands, designers, shops, and publishers used with permission, through press kits, or under fair use to illustrate news, reviews, or commentary.

I do not claim ownership of third party images. All rights remain with their original creators and rights holders.

How I credit images

I aim to place credits near the image or at the end of the post in a Credits section. A typical credit looks like this:

  • Photo by [Creator Name] via [Brand or Publication]
  • Image courtesy of [Brand Name] Press
  • Stock photo licensed via [Library Name]
  • Design by [Designer or Studio], photography by [Photographer]

If a creator prefers a specific format, I follow the requested credit line.

Corrections and takedowns

If a credit is missing, incorrect, or an image appears without the appropriate permission:

  • Email credits@thetrendyinterior.com with the page URL, the image description or screenshot, and the correct credit or your removal request.
  • I review and respond within 3 business days.
  • Verified corrections are updated as fast as possible. Removal requests from rights holders are honored promptly.

For formal copyright notices, you can also write to dmca@thetrendyinterior.com. See the Terms of Use for the DMCA process.

Licensing and permissions

For third party images, I rely on one or more of the following:

  • Written permission from the creator or brand.
  • Press kits and media libraries that grant editorial usage with credit.
  • Licensed stock from libraries where I maintain an active subscription.
  • Fair use for critique, commentary, newsworthy coverage, or educational context. I use only what is necessary and include clear commentary and attribution.

If you are a creator or brand and would like your preferred licensing terms noted, email legal@thetrendyinterior.com.

Editing and AI enhancements

I sometimes make basic edits to images for clarity and consistency, including crop, exposure, contrast, white balance, and minor retouching to remove dust or background distractions. I may also use reputable photo editing software and artificial intelligence tools to:

  • Upscale or improve sharpness and noise levels.
  • Clean edges, remove minor artifacts, or generate neutral backdrops for collages and product layouts.
  • Create mock ups that demonstrate styling ideas.

Edits and AI enhancements are for presentation and inspiration. They are not meant to misrepresent products or places. Colors can vary by screen and lighting. Please confirm finish, scale, and specifications directly with the retailer or manufacturer before purchasing.

How you may use my images

My original photos and graphics are protected by copyright. You may:

  • Quote a short excerpt of a post and include a single image for non commercial purposes with a dofollow link to the original page and visible credit to TheTrendyInterior.com.You may not:
  • Repost full galleries, download and redistribute images, or use my photos in products, ads, or templates without written permission.

For media, publishers, and brands seeking usage rights, email press@thetrendyinterior.com or partnerships@thetrendyinterior.com with the image link, context, and proposed usage. Licensing is available.

Pinterest and social sharing

You are welcome to save and pin my images on Pinterest for personal inspiration, as long as the pin links back to the original post. Do not upload my files to third party image hosts or remove the source link. For brand reposts on social, include a visible creator credit and a link when possible.

Brand and creator submissions

If you send me images for potential coverage, you confirm that:

  • You own or control the rights to share them for editorial use.
  • You grant me a non exclusive, royalty free license to display them on the site and official social channels with proper credit. If later you need an image removed, email credits@thetrendyinterior.com and I will help.
